Secure Jobs

The notion of a "Secure Job" really is a myth! Don't think for a moment your job is safe because it's only as safe as the company you are working for! And we've all seen how large corporations and small businesses can fail FAST!

Imagine the situation: you switch on the TV and while watching the NEWS you saw a rally about a group of people (not just one worker) - that got laid off after being with their boss for over 20 years?

Reality now shows itself to you that NO JOB is truly secure! You start thinking that Secure Jobs and the idea of you having job security are just a few terms the MEDIA use and throw around to sell papers and get viewers to watch their programs!

Then you start asking yourself questions like "If your BOSS decided to no longer pay you, but still have you on as an employee, would you still turn up for work?" I guess of course the answer is NO! And why would you be right? The reason for this question is to bring you back to the basic reason why you are actually working for a boss - in the first place. It's only for the money! Because with the money you can do and have the things that you and your family really enjoy - right?

In a struggling economy, unemployment numbers increase. Businesses have a harder time surviving, and many go under. This makes it harder to land a new job, and more difficult to keep the one you have. Many companies lay off or fire employees, because they can't afford the expense of keeping them. Securing your job in a struggling economy can be tough, but very doable!
